I'm not sure why she needs so much homework. I am completely anti-homework. She spends 7 hours in school that should be all the work she needs. When she steps through our doors it should be family time. I know, I know, please don't send me messages about how if I feel this way then I should be homeschooling her. I would love to of kept her home this year, but I know my limits as a mom and right now is not the time. So, for now I will try and make her time at home as fun as possible and maybe, just maybe there may be times I help her a little with that homework.

So many parents complained about the homework in Noah's class that she made it optional. And told the kids that too. So imagine trying to got an 8 year old boy who loves TV to do a little bit!!! We are the second picture for sure!
i'm sure you can guess, i am totally with you on this one. however, when i was a teacher, we were required to give a certain amount of homework every night. it would be nice if the parent could choose....
Oh how I remember this with Sarah and Jude. Good grief, we had no life of any kind, especially during 5th and 6th grade.
You may want to talk to her teacher. If Morgan is doing well in class, homework maybe can be an option, even if she gets a "B" instead of an "A".
Don't feel bad about not homeschooling, you've had so much on your plate this past year. You are a great mom!
