Aprons

I love Aprons. I always have and now that I have three crazy kids my aprons come in use. My aprons are pretty worn after 13 years of marriage so I thought it was time to treat myself to some new ones. I wish so much that I was crafty and I could just make one, but I'm so not crafty so I had to settle on finding one. I have searched high and low and the cheapest one I could find was around $30. $30 that sounded ridiculous. I gave up on having new aprons because there was no way the McNally bank could afford the luxury of a new apron for that price. A few weeks ago when I was in Sac I went to Ross and guess what they had a huge selection of aprons. The price $6, now we are talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited. You better bet I am cooking up a storm in those new aprons.

Love Dare

"The Love Dare"
I'm sure most of you have seen "Fireproof" by now, but have you done the Love Dare book? I picked it up about a month ago at Costco for $8.00. It sat on my nightstand for a few weeks because I wanted to be ready to do it. Finally I decided to do it. It took me four days to get through day one. Day one was working on my patience with my husband. I am very sad to say patience does not come easy with me especially with my husband. Once I finally got past day one I have been loving it.
It doesn't matter where you are in your marriage you can get something out of the book. It has brought up really good conversations between us.
I even think Ryan has secretly started reading it, because I have heard some things come out of his mouth that I know are only from the book.
Try and do the book without your spouse knowing it, I think that makes the journey even more magical.

Another Fun Weekend

It seems like we have had three fun weekends in a row. Ryan has spent most of our thirteen years of marriage working on Saturdays. Three weeks ago he started a new position and with that he has Saturdays off. I knew we had been missing out, but I never really understood how much we were missing out till now. With Morgan in school this year we just didn't have a family day. We are loving those weekends off. We will enjoy them for as long as they last. Last weekend we went to Sac for a few days. It was a fun weekend full of sun and hanging out with friends. kids at the park. This picture is so far away because I couldn't get my lazy butt off the bench to get a closer shot.

I have no idea why I have this picture. This little guy was stalking me at the park.

St. Patricks Day (A little late)

I had so much to say last week that I wasn't able to post about the McNally St. Patricks Day.
The morning started with green pancakes. As I am looking at them in picture they look really gross, but all three of the kids loved them. Morgan is showing me how yummy they are.

Here's my little leprechaun in her St. Patty's day outfit.

Who knows what this guy is doing?

Tourists Again

Now that the snow has slowed down we have been able to get out and see our town we live in. On Saturday we drove about 30 minutes and went to a ski resort called NorthStar.

Since we are WAY to poor to ski Ryan took the kids down the little slopes. They had a blast.

14 months

How in the world did I miss your 14th month b-day? Maybe because time is going

by way to fast. Slow down little man.

You are still the best baby ever!!!!!!!!! You are a big talker.

You haven't started walking yet, but there is plenty of time for that big boy stuff.

I love you little man.

Monopoly

My wonderful husband has passed his love of Monopoly down to his first born son. Ryan loves Monopoly and many of you that know him would never play with him because he takes it so serious. As you can tell from these pictures Brandan isn't at the point of taking himself serious yet.

Getting Older

You know your daughter is getting older when you pack her a juice box and when she comes home she is crying because there is an Elmo on it. Who knew? I had no idea Elmo was on the box. I just knew they were the healthiest juice boxes I could find and in her lunch they went. Lesson learned there.
You know your daughter is getting older when you pack her cookies and she comes home crying because tigger and pooh are on them. Who knew? Again, they were the healthiest cookies I could find. Lesson learned.

Tourists

We had fun being tourists in our own town this week. The weather was beautiful so we thought we would set out on an adventure. Enjoying lunch.

I put Logan by this scary model that was suppose to be Mark Twain. It was actually inside this really cool old book store.

This is a beautiful church that is in the middle of being remodeled.

Another beautiful church.

Cutest kids ever.

Cutest family ever. Yes the sign does say restaurant and saloon.

Happy Belated Birthday Dr. Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss birthday Morgan's school celebrated last week by having dress up day. Morgan wanted to be Horton. This was the best her very uncreative mother could come up with. She seemed pleased with her outfit.
