Reason Number 3

Reason number 3 as to why my life has been busy, this little nine year old. I signed up Morgan for a charter program in Sacramento. She is loving it. The charter program allows us to have so many opportunities to do things we never would be able to. She is taking two kinds of dance classes a week, jazz and hip hop. She is taking piano lessons once a week. Morgan is even able to take home school classes during the week. We have done a few history classes and art classes. She is loving school and all of her extra stuff.

Reason number 2

This big guy number 4 is reason number 2 that I have been so busy. He started playing basketball the day we moved down here. We just finished up the season. He loved it!!! We found a basketball hoop on craigslist for free and you can find him out there shooting hoops all day.

Right as we finished up basketball he jumped right into baseball season. Last weekend he had his opening day to kick off the season and his first game. Please swear on your life that you will not tell him that I laughed the entire game because he was so funny. One of the innings he got to play catcher. Oh my, he ran over to me and said, "Mom they are going to dress me up." I could not stop laughing. He was so cute!!!

Brandan loves to go to church on Wednesday night. They are leaning the fruits of the spirit. I love hearing him when he comes home and reciting all of the fruits of the spirit.

He continues to have such a wonderful sense of humor. He has changed so much in the last few months. I can say for sure the age of five has been really a good year for this big guy.

Reason number 1

There are many reasons why I have not had time to sit down and blog the last few months. I plan on listing all of these over the next few weeks. The NUMBER 1 reason is because of this little angel. This little man has turned into a true two year old. I swear (OK I really don't, but if I did) he had his doctor visits in Portland and when he heard the good news, "We don't need to see you for three years," he turned into a crazy kid. He is totally and completely crazy. There is no way that he became crazy because his mom babies him and gives him whatever he wants. He has become one of those children where when he doesn't get his way he throws himself on the ground and throws a huge fit. Like any good mom I simply look at him and start to laugh. If this had been my first two children (for the record there is no way my first two would of done that, OK maybe) I would of freaked out and started crying myself because my child was so unruly. Maybe it is because he is our last baby, maybe it is because he is so darn cute, or maybe it is because I have looked at death with him. He is a true and true two year old, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Busy

I would describe our lives as "BUSY". We have lived a very simple, very quiet life for the last two years up in Reno. I can say for sure moving back to Sacramento has made us very BUSY. Don't let me fool you, if you know me at all I LOVE to be BUSY. I love to have lists to do and checklists to cross off. When I have things to fill up a calender I feel like I am accomplishing things. I am very comfortable with my type A personality, thank you very much.
Enough about that, I felt that I had to explain myself as to why I have left the blog world. I love blogging. I love looking back over the last three years and seeing all the milestones of our family. From today on I am pledging to get back on the wagon of blogging. So, for my few readers I am back and ready to share my BUSY life with you!!!
