The journey continues

How do you write about something you don't want to write about, but know you need to? I have been going over and over in my head the last few days on how I would write this on my blog. So it is through many tears as I sit here at my computer I will write.
God has called our family onto another journey in life. A few months ago when we were going through our birth of dear Logan and the trauma that brought, Ryan was approached by his company for a promotion. With the promotion came a move back to CA. At the time Ryan said thank you so much, but no thank you we have enough on our plates. Well, over the last few months they have continued to put the pressure on him and pursue him even more. They have offered him several different positions and we have continued to pray about it. Well last week they made the offer to good for our family to pass up. We dedicided to accept a position in Reno, Nevada. It is with bitter sweetness we accepted it. We love Salem. I have made some friends that I never thought you could have. My friendships have been so deep here that I know that they will last forever. Our love for CourtStreet Christian Church will never end. It will continue to be in our prayers as it grows.
As my best friend in the whole world said to me yesterday this is just another part of our testimony. Leslie was right, this is just another part of the McNally testimony. We will leave Salem with a very sad heart, but we know that we are needed in Reno, NV. God has a wonderful plan for our family there. I'm very excited to see what God is going to do in our families lives as we begin this new journey.

we'll keep you in our prayers about this kristan. i think you said it best that it's a bittersweet decision. best wishes with all the move stuff - i know you moved to salem about the same time i did, and now you're leaving too, with a brand new baby as well. God will bless you so much through this and just think of the wonderful friends and experiences from salem that you will carry with you forever.

Now I know where the Ranch tears came from.
You have touched us more then you know. You and your family bought sunshine to Salem. We love you.

So are you ready for one last month of parties!!! Darren is planning them :)

He said, well, at least it's not far and the air fare is cheap.

We love you guys more then anything.
And know you will be a HUGE blessing to a whole new group of people in Nevada.

Hold on to your hats Reno!!! You have the best family coming to invade your town.

You have touched my heart and my family in more ways than I can express.

Maggie cried twice yesterday when I told her the news. You'll be sorely missed by Morgan and I. But I know that this is the right plan for your family. God is the head of your household. I know this from watching and knowing you for the past two and a half years.

And you are so right, this is not the end of our friendship, only the beginning.

I love that so many of us are grieving you leaving us, that just means you have made a huge impression on our lives while you are here...doesn't that mean more than anything?

I am so thankful that you made Salem and Court Street your home over these last years. We are richer because of it. I am so sad for our loss but am anxiously anticipating the impact that you're going to be making on yet another unsuspecting town. Your family is a treasure and we will keep you in our hearts forever! Love to you, friends!!!

Oh, I will miss you! What a blessing you have been to me at MOPS group.

My uncle has a house in Reno that we try to visit at least once a year...we'll definitely visit you!

Oh so much to handle all at once. It sounds like the Lord is really leading and you are following. I will miss you at MOPS (love your coffee) but I pray the Lord will bless you in your new home and city and church. Love you.

SAD! This is hard news :'(

God is wonderful to have placed you in my life if even for a short while. Your gorgeous smile and cheerful heart have always been a joy to be around.

I do my best to learn something great and something special from each person Christ has so graciously blessed me with. From you kristan I will take away an incredible lesson of what it looks like to find strength in faith!

Your an amazing women Kristan! Your going to find great friends, (none quite as cool as Leslie and Karen, and Abby and all the other ladies who I know will miss you dearly) but you will bless them just as much!

It hurts to be torn from the familiar but, God has trusted you with such a grand adventure. Hopefully we can continue to keep in touch through blog land. But, how long do we have left in real life land? When do you go?

Kristan,
I just want to add my "love you and will miss you" comment along with everyone else's. You are a special lady and we are all better for knowing you.

PS- there should be a little trash can icon near Adam Brown's comment. Click on it and say goodbye to your pesky new friend :)

I can't believe I've been out of the loop all this time! I'm going to miss you and already regret not spending more time with you.

Congratulations are in order. How wonderful that Ryan is being pursued. It says so much about his knowledge and work ethic.

God leads us to wonderful places. I'm very excited for you, but a little sad for me and the kids. They will miss their friends.

Call me and I'll help you pack (or watch the kids so you can pack)
