Every year I have been so on board with doing Christmas pictures. I love getting Christmas cards and I love sending ours out. This year my mood has been a little different. On Sunday I told Mr. McNally that it was time to take the Christmas picture. My original thought was to have all five of us in the picture. After much thought I decided I just didn't have it in me to get myself ready for this picture. After getting the kids all ready and propped in front of the Christmas tree for a perfect shot I realized the shot was just not going to come. The kids were all in different moods. The picture that I put up on the header of my blog describes perfectly how they were that evening. Morgan was compliant like always, Logan was very tired and confused as to why he had to sit there and not play with the tree, and for Brandan, well he was his crazy self. So, after looking at all of the hundreds of shots that I took, I might of gotten one shot. We will just have to see.

I hear ya my friend. I am not doing cards this year because I just don't want to put myself and the kids through the stress. I still love the picture you took. You can definitely read Logan's face.

i love it (the header pic)! i think shots with candid moments are great, though i love perfectly posed ones too. i feel like you - the thought of getting myself ready seems like too much. we'll see if i can hurry up and pull it off....
Hey, sometimes I feel like making faces like that, too. :) I love Morgan's hands on both boths, loving yet firm and still able to keep a composed, nice smile on her face. She'll make a wonderful Mommy one day!

Though when that card comes....who knows.
I was looking through what pictures I had saved in Costco before the computer went belly up...and none of them are great. I think I will have to try for some more. Maybe Spring Break???
