thankful

I Survived the Turkey!!!!!!! Dinner turned out great if I may so say myself. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the family. It was so good to have my parents here to share in the day with us.
On Friday we went to cut the Christmas tree. That was a huge adventure with the two year old who thinks mud is "real fun". We came home as dirty as you can be, but with huge smiles. We spent all day Friday and Saturday decorating the McNally house. My parents are such troopers!!
At church today the pastor talked about how thankful we need to be during this time of year. I have heard those words a million times, but I think the older I am getting those words are finally sinking in.
I am so grateful for my life and all that is in it. God continues to bless me daily.
My prayer for these next few weeks before Christmas is that I can continue to keep this thankful heart and keep the LORD at the center of this holiday time.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful holiday with the family! I can't wait to see all the trimmings at the McNally house.

And, congratulations on your first ever turkey!

Well, you are WAY ahead of me on cooking a turkey. I've never done one (or even thought about volunteering to do one!). Way to go on fixing Thanksgiving dinner!

And hooray for Christmas trees. Ours is still sitting in the garage, but it'll get promoted sometime this week.

Yay for blogging :)

Love, Steph
