Orange Belt

Little Morgan got her orange belt at karate today. I am so proud of her. She loves going to class and she has gotten really good. Yes, she did get a haircut. Can she be any cuter?

Happy One Year Birthday

We celebrated Logan's Birthday this weekend since on his real birthday we spent the day in the car. The kids wanted to give him a balloon party. I wasn't sure what they had in mind, but I think I fulfilled their wishes for our little man. I can't believe my miracle baby is one. This little man has taught me more about myself in the last year than I had learned the 32 years before him. Happy Birthday big boy.

12 month doc visits

Yesterday was a day filled with the kidney and liver doctors. According to the doctors Logan continues to improve and his organs continue to heal. The kidney doc told us that he can for a fact tell us that for the next 10 years his kidneys will function well and he's pretty sure for the next 20 years they will be fine. He wasn't able at this point to tell us past 20 years. I'll take that, let's be honest none of us know what is going to happen to our bodies in the next 20 years.

The liver doc told us that he is only watching one little lab number called the AFP. Basically the AFP shows if there are cancerous cells in the liver when Logan was born his numbers his numbers climbed into the 10,000. The normal number is 0-6. At this time they are at an 11. He is very pleased with this. The only reason he continues to watch it is because of all of the damage done to the liver it forms scar tissue and this tissue can have cancerous cells in it. He of course told us because of worst case scenario.

All in all I couldn't of asked for better visits. The doctors don't want to see us for a year.
Logan continues to be a reminder to me of God's grace. The Lord has spared us so much. Thank you Lord for this wonderful blessing in just a little 20 pound body. I never want to forget the Lord's goodness to our family.
Once I get our computer fixed I will post pictures of Logan on his one year birthday.

Happy 12 months

Tomorrow is the day that I want to forget but yet I never want to forget. My little man turns one. We are going to celebrate by jumping in the car and driving to Portland. Not really my idea of how to celebrate my babys birthday, but it seems fitting. Logan has his doctors appointment on Monday to see how the progress of his liver and kidneys are doing. Please pray for our family to have safe travels and for Logan's appointments to go well.
I promise to a much better birthday post when I return.

Catch up

I have so much catch up to do on my blog, but not enough time to do it. Just a few things. We had a wonderful Christmas in New Mexico and a Happy New Years. We are home now and I have a house to clean and tons of laundry to do.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday time.

11 months

Happy 11 months my little man. You are such a wonderful baby who is growing up WAY to fast. Last month at this time we were still trying to get one tooth in. Over the last four weeks you have managed to get 7 more. You never fussed once over these new things growing in your mouth. The only reason I knew you even had these new teeth was because I stuck my finger in your mouth and there they were.

You are going from furniture to furniture like crazy. I know you are going to be walking before I know it. You know how to crawl normal, but you still prefer to do the army crawl.

Health wise you continue to gain weight slowly, but at least you are gaining. We see the specialists in Portland next month to see how they think you are doing. I of course go by my mommy instincts and I think you are as normal as any McNally can be.

It is neat to look back last year at this time as we were anticipating your arrival. Little did I know what God was going to have in store for our lives. You have taught me so much in your short little 11 months.

Thank you so much little man for being such a blessing to me.
